ABUJA, Nigeria – Former Governor of Kano State, Rabiu Musa Kwankwaso, has hosted former Vice President Atiku Abubakar at his residence in Abuja, in what signals strengthening political alignment within the African Democratic Congress (ADC), Okay News reports.
Kwankwaso described Atiku as a “dear brother” and expressed appreciation for his role in welcoming him into the party, stating: “I used the opportunity to personally thank the Wazirin Adamawa for his warm reception into the ADC and to reaffirm our unwavering commitment to delivering victory for the party at all levels.”
Also present at the meeting were key political figures, including Aminu Waziri Tambuwal, Dino Melaye, Kashim Imam, and Adamu Maina Waziri, among others.
The high-level gathering highlights ongoing consultations and coalition-building efforts within the ADC as political actors reposition ahead of future elections, with party leaders expressing confidence in securing victories across multiple levels.
