Kwara governor nominates 26-year-old, three other women to form first cabinet

Kwara State Governor, AbdulRahman AbdulRazaq, has nominated a 26-year-old for a commissioner role in his cabinet.

Rafiu Ajakaye, the chief press secretary of the governor, disclosed this in a statement to Okay.ng on Tuesday.

Joana Nnazua Kolo, 26, is from the Edu local government area of the state.

Ms Kolo, the youngest commissioner-nominee in the state’s history, is a 2018 graduate of Library Science from the Kwara State University (KWASU).

She is an ardent advocate of community development.

The governor also nominated three other women in his prospective cabinet.

Mrs Sa’adatu Modibbo-Kawu, Arinola Fatimoh Lawal and Aisha Ahman Pategi were among the names forwarded to the House of Assembly.

Mrs. Folashade Omoniyi was also nominated as the new Chairperson of the Kwara State Internal Revenue Service (KW-IRS).
