The strike that threatened to affect the end of the La Liga season has been called off.
The Spanish high court on Thursday decided that the strike was illegal. This means that the deciding match between Atletico and Barcelona will hold as well as the copa del rey final.
The strike was initially called by the Spanish Football Association (RFEF) in conjunction with the players’ union (AFE) following a dispute over the distribution of television revenue.
