Lagos Governor Sanwo-Olu renames Onikan Stadium after Mobolaji Johnson (VIDEO)

The Governor of Lagos State, Babajide Sanwo-Olu, has renamed the Onikan Stadium after Brigadier Mobolaji Johnson.

Okay.ng understands Sanwo-Olu made the announcement during his speech at the Day of Honour ceremony for the late first governor of Lagos state.

He noted that Onikan Stadium will now be called Mobolaji Olufunso Johnson Stadium.

Mobolaji Johnson passed away aged 83 on October 30, 2019.
