A first-class monarch in Lagos state, the Oniru of Iruland, Oba Idowu Abiodun Oniru, has passed away aged 82.
The Lagos monarch died in Lagos on Monday morning at his Palace in Iru, Victoria Island, after a brief illness.
Oba Oniru succeeded his father in the year 1995.
He is father of popular On-Air personality, Tolu Demuren, widely known as ‘Toolz’.
