Ambode

The Lagos state chapter of the Peoples Democratic Party(PDP) has hailed the present administration in the state, saying the state now fare better under Akinwunmi Ambode-led administration.

The party, however, said its statement complimenting Ambode’s government should not be construed as adopting the government.

It insisted that the previous administration of Governor Babatunde Fashola who is presently the Minister of Works, Power and Housing thrived on propaganda and what it called pseudo achievements.

This was contained in a statement by the party’s Publicity Secretary, Mr. Taofiq Gani. The party is of the view that Fashola’s headship of three Ministries is not appropriate given the technicalities involved and the Minister being a lawyer.

The party queried the Minister for celebrating generation of 30 mega watts of electricity from Gurara Hydro Power Plant, describing at laughable and infuriating.
