Spanish LaLiga club Las Palmas have confirmed the signing of Nigerian forward Imoh Ezekiel.

Imoh, who arrived as a free agent, had signed with Las Palmas earlier on Friday but the club did not immediately confirm the deal.

“Nigerian striker Imoh Ezekiel will be a UD Las Palmas player until June 2019 and will occupy wear the number 14 jersey,” Las Palmas announced on their official website on Friday night.
“The international Olympic footballer with Nigeria in Brazil was without a contract after separating from his previous club Konyaspor.”

The 24-year-old has been a free agent since December after he left Konyaspor over unpaid wages.

The former U-23s winger becomes the third Nigerian international player at Las Palmas after Oghenekaro Etebo and Emmanuel Emenike joined the club before the close of the January transfer window.
