Oyo State Governor Seyi Makinde has pledged to mobilise friends and associates to raise at least ₦500 million for landmark development projects at Bishop Phillips Academy, Ibadan, his alma mater.

The commitment was made during the 40th anniversary celebration of the school’s 1985 set.

According to details obtained by Okay News from his verified X account, the initiative aims to deliver commemorative projects that will improve facilities and leave a lasting legacy at the institution.

Makinde and his classmates also reflected on their shared experiences while reaffirming their commitment to giving back to the school.
