Mali defeats Senegal 3-2 on penalties to clinch 2019 U-20 AFCON title

Mali has clinched the 2019 Africa Under-20 Cup of Nations title after defeating Senegal on penalties.

The game ended 1-1 relegation draw moved into extra time.

Boubacar Traore scored his goal for Mail 16 minutes into the match as Amadou Ndiaye equalized for Senegal 17 minutes from normal time.

However, Mali cliched the trophy after winning 3-2 on penalties to win their first ever titled.
