An middle-aged man allegedly slumped and died after pirating and trying to sell Open Heavens –  a popular devotional by Pastor E.A. Adeboye of the Redeemed Christian Church of God (RCCG).

According to blogger, Kemi Filani, the deceased man whose name is yet to be revealed, had reportedly traveled to China with an original copy of the widely read devotional, had them duplicated and brought back to Nigeria.

It was gathered that the man had planned to sell the pirated devotional at the rate of N1000 when the original copy is sold between N750- N800.

But the man couldn’t complete his shady deal as he reportedly slumped and died in February, at his home shortly after he alighted from his car.

The driver of the truck loaded with the pirated devotional allegedly ran away on foot when he discovered his boss was dead.

It was also learnt that his sales person was also arrested by security operatives at the Redemption Camp this last weekend and now in police custody.

He is reportedly being held in one of the police cells inside RCCG camp.
