Man Trekking From Yola To Abuja Received By Emir Of Bauchi (See Photos)

The man who started trekking from Yola, Adamawa, on April 26, to celebrate Buhari’s victory arrived Bauchi on Saturday, on his way to Abuja.He was received at the palace of the Emir of Bauchi and also by APC Bauchi chapter, where he was given an APC T-shirt.

43 year old Malam Abubakr Umar, told newsmen in Bauchi that he was carrying more than 300 letters of requests from people of the North East sub-region, to Buhari.According to him, most of the letters contained requests urging the president-elect to address the problem of insecurity and re-build the sub-region.

He said that the letters were given to him by people along the road, adding that “some women have also asked me to appeal to Buhari not to scrap the office of the First Lady

After his stop at Bauchi,Umar continued his trip to Abuja on foot..
