Katsina State Governor Aminu Masari has reportedly been flown overseas for treatment of a kidney related ailment.
Masari of the All Progressive Congress (APC) has been having a running battle with the immediate past governor of the state, Barrister Ibrahim Shema over alleged mismanagement of state fund under his tenure.

Shema, had in a ‘Save Our Soul’ (SOS) letter written to President Muhammadu Buhari through his lawyer, Chief Wole Olanipekun SAN, alleged that barely a month after he left office as Governor of Katsina State, his successor, Governor Masari, started a campaign of calumny against him in a bid to decimate his towering image and reverse the progress attained under his leadership.

Masari reportedly left Katsina with his wife and two children to india to attend to his health which was gradually deteriorating.
