Massive fire guts Notre Dame cathedral in Paris

Notre Dame cathedral, one of France’s finest examples of French Gothic architecture in Paris, was on Monday gutted by fire.

The massive fire damaged the the roof of the cathedral which caused a collapse.

According to reports, no death or injury was recorded as investigation to find the cause of fire is still ongoing.

Emmanuel Macron, the president of France, took to his Twitter to mourn the incident as he heads to the scene of the incident.

The tweet which was made in french translates below.

“Our Lady of Paris in flames. Emotion of a whole nation. Thoughts go out to all Catholics and all of France. Like all our countrymen, I’m sad tonight to see this part of us burn.”
