Inter Milan striker, Mauro Icardi has made it clear that he is not leaving Inter in the coming months amid speculations that Chelsea are preparing a bid for the striker.

The Inter forward is one of the top strikers Maurizio Sarri wants to sign this January, but could cost about £90million.

Chelsea’s board are said to be determined to back Sarri in the next transfer window and are prepared to spend a huge amount on a centre-forward capable of making the Blues win the Premier League title.

Inspite of the speculation, Icardi has insisted his future still remains with the Seria A club.

“I do not know if everything that is published is true,” Metro UK quoted him as saying.

“I always say that I am very good with my family at Inter, I have no intention of leaving.

“Offers came in the summer but I have neither the need nor the desire to leave.”

Speaking further, he said “Offers always arrive. At the moment I am very calm and I am focused on what we are doing with the team of which I am a captain.

“We are going to play in the Champions League and the offers will not move me.”

Inter are not open to selling their captain midway through the season, and Chelsea would need to make massive offer to lure Icardi to the London club.

The Argentine has enjoyed a superb start to his season with six goals to his name in nine appearances.

Inter, however, wants to tie Icardi down to a new contract as his current contract is set to expire in 2021.
