Max Air, a leading Nigerian airline, has announced the sad news of the passing of its Vice Chairman and CEO, Bashir Barau Mangal.

In a statement released by the company’s media consultant, it was confirmed that Alhaji Bashir Barau Mangal passed away in the early hours of Friday, December 23, 2022.

“Inna lillahi wa inna Ilaihi rajiun,” the statement read.

“This is to announce the death of our beloved brother Alhaji Bashir Barau Mangal Vice Chairman/ CEO Max Air in the early hours of today Friday 23rd December 2022. May Allah grant him Jannatul Firdaus.”

Bashir Barau Mangal was a well-respected and influential figure in the aviation industry
