The Nigeria Centre for Disease Control (NCDC) on Saturday, May 8th, announced 30 new cases of COVID-19 in Nigeria

According to NCDC, the new cases were spread across 3 States.

The States with the 30 new cases are;

  • Lagos-21
  • Adamawa-8
  • Rivers-1

NCDC also announced that as of 11:55 pm on 8th May, there are 165,370 total COVID-19 confirmed cases reported in Nigeria.

156,250 patients have been discharged with 2,065 deaths across the country.
