Former Minister of Aviation and a chieftain of the Peoples Democratic Party (PDP), chief Femi Fani-Kayode, has reacted to the attack on the convoy of the immediate past Senate President, Chief David Mark, when he visited troubled Agatu communities in Benue State.

Mr. Mark was greeted with a barrage of bullets from Fulani herdsmen when he visited to ascertain the level of destruction caused by recent attacks by the herdsmen who are said to have now occupied the communities.

Reacting to this development, Mr. Fani-Kayode wrote: “Yesterday Fulani gunmen shot at former Senate President David Mark. Today Fulani gunmen attacked the University of Ado Ekiti.”

“Every day innocent people are being killed every day by these vandals yet as a people we say and do nothing and we remain in our perpetual sleep and deep witchcraft-induced slumber. May God deliver our nation from those that kill in God’s name and in their quest to enslave us.”
