The Football Association has announced that Michael Oliver will referee this season’s FA Cup final between Chelsea and Manchester United on Saturday, May 19, 2018.

He will be assisted by Lee Betts and Ian Hussin, with Lee Mason as the fourth official. The video assistant referee (VAR) will be Neil Swarbrick.

Oliver became the centre of attention earlier this month, when he awarded a last-minute penalty to Real Madrid during their Champions League quarter-final second leg against Juventus at the Santiago Bernabeu.
