Super Eagles midfielder, John Obi Mikel has confirmed that he is set to move to the United Arab Emirate after eight years at Chelsea.

The midfielder has been in Chelsea since 2016 but has seen his first team chances limited due.

The midfielder through his agent have now confirmed that he has agreed personal terms with Al Ain and it is for left United Arab Emirate based club to agree on the $12 million deal with Chelsea.

Mikel’s agent, Babawo Mohammed, confirmed this saying; “Mikel has agreed personal terms with Al Ain and it is now left for Chelsea and the club to agree on a transfer fee.

“He has returned to England to communicate all these to Chelsea. We just have to wait and see what Chelsea say in this regard.”

Mike is set to join the likes of Asamoah Gyan and UAE favourite, Omar Abdulrahman in Al Ain.
