Liverpool star Mohamed Salah has committed his future to the club by signing a contract extension that will keep him at Anfield beyond the 2024–25 season, okay.ng reports.

The 32-year-old Egyptian forward, who joined the Reds from AS Roma in 2017, has been in exceptional form this season, scoring 32 goals in 45 matches across all competitions. With 27 of those goals coming in the Premier League, Salah currently leads the top scorer chart. He has also provided 22 assists, underlining his influence in Liverpool’s attacking setup.

Speaking to the club’s official website, Salah expressed his excitement about the new deal and his desire to continue contributing to the team’s success.

“I’m really excited. We’ve always had a great team, and I believe we can win more trophies. These have been the best years of my career, and I’m looking forward to more,” he said.

The news offers a major boost to Liverpool’s new head coach Arne Slot, who will be eager to build his squad around Salah’s consistent performances and leadership on the pitch.

Salah, widely considered one of Liverpool’s all-time greats, sits third on the club’s all-time scoring list with 243 goals in 394 appearances. Since arriving at Anfield, he has been instrumental in delivering seven major trophies, including the Premier League, UEFA Champions League, FIFA Club World Cup, UEFA Super Cup, FA Cup, and two Carabao Cups.
