Mohamed Salah Heads to Spain for Shoulder Injury Treatment

Egypt star player Mohamed Salah will head to Spain on Tuesday for treatment following the shoulder injury he picked up in Liverpool’s Champions League final defeat to Real Madrid.

The Egyptian is at the risk of missing out of the World Cup following the development on Saturday.

However, Egypt’s football federation (EFA) said Salah’s entourage had chosen Spain for a rehabilitation programme with the hope that he will make the competition.

According to an EFA statement Salah will be accompanied by Liverpool’s medical staff “for the duration of the treatment period”, having “started his rehabilitation on Sunday”.
