Gernot Rohr has named a strong squad ahead of the 2018 World Cup qualifier match against Algeria in Uyo next month.

Gernot Rohr has announced a strong squad for next month’s World Cup qualifier against the Greens, with John Ogu earning a recall.

Gernot Rohr has invited 24 players for November 12th’s Fifa World Cup qualifier against Algeria at the Godswill Akpabio Stadium in Uyo.

The Super Eagles got their Russia 2018 campaign to a winning start defeating Zambia 2-1 in Ndola, and they will be hoping to continue in that form against the north Africans.

Manchester City’s Kelechi Iheanacho and Arsenal’s Alex Iwobi were instrumental to the three-time African champions’ victory against Chipolopolo, and they return for the clash against the Greens.

Watford’s Odion Ighalo returns to the team after missing the last trip due to his father’s burial, while John Ogu and Etebo Oghenekaro were also handed a recall.
