Telecommunications giant MTN Nigeria has been crowned the Best Mobile Network in Nigeria for the first half of 2025, according to the latest Speedtest Awards by Ookla, the global leader in internet testing and analysis.
The recognition, announced on Monday, follows an extensive evaluation of network performance across Nigeria during Q1–Q2 2025.
MTN emerged top with a Speedtest Connectivity Score™ of 62.59, outperforming competitors Airtel (47.21) and Glo (39.06).
In a post by Speedtest Awards, Ookla said the Speedtest Connectivity Score provides “a reliable measure of the overall mobile network connected experience.”
