Nigerian billionaire businessman Femi Otedola has celebrated his daughters in a heartfelt message to mark International Women’s Day.
The philanthropist shared the tribute on Sunday via his official X account, describing his daughters as his most valuable investment.
“My greatest investments are my 3 daughters who make me proud every day. Happy International Women’s Day my angels,” he wrote, tagging DJ Cuppy (Florence Otedola), Temi Otedola, and Tolani Otedola.
Femi Otedola, born Olufemi Peter Otedola on November 4, 1962, in Ibadan, Oyo State, is one of Nigeria’s prominent businessmen and philanthropists. He previously served as chairman of Forte Oil and is the former executive chairman of Geregu Power.
Otedola built his early wealth in commodities trading before selling his shares in Forte Oil and focusing on investments in the energy sector. He currently chairs Geregu Power, a major power generation company in Nigeria, where he holds a controlling stake.
Over the years, the businessman has also expanded his investments across several sectors including shipping, real estate, and finance. He holds shares in Zenith Bank and FBN Holdings, and founded Zenon Petroleum and Gas Limited.
International Women’s Day is celebrated annually on March 8 to recognise the social, economic, cultural, and political achievements of women, while also advocating for greater gender equality around the world. The 2026 observance highlights the theme “Rights. Justice. Action. For All Women and Girls.”
