Senator Aisha Alhassan popularly known as Mama Taraba has discredited reports that her ministerial nomination is a compensation for her failed gubernatorial bid.

Addressing the Senate, Mama Taraba said she was not nominated based on sentiment.

”Buhari never asked me to choose between being a gov or a minister”.
