NAFDAC DG, Paul Orhi, has been summoned by the EFCC over allegations bordering on abuse of office.

Reports say Dr. Orhi, after his arrival around 10am, was questioned by a crack team of detectives for allegedly awarding huge contracts to companies in which he has interests.

“It is true that the NAFDAC head was summoned by us and he is currently being quizzed in relation to allegations that he has been awarding contracts running into millions of Naira to companies close to him,” an EFCC operative said.

The NAFDAC boss might be released if EFCC is satisfied with his answers to questions.
