The National Hajj Commission of Nigeria (NAHCON) has opened its online application portal for volunteers interested in joining the 2026 Hajj National Medical Team.

The announcement was issued by Professor Abdullahi Saleh Usman, Chairman and Chief Executive Officer of NAHCON, who said the Commission is seeking Medical Doctors, Pharmacists, Nurses, and Environmental or Community Health Officers to support Nigerian pilgrims during next year’s Hajj.

Okay News reports that the teams form a core part of NAHCON’s annual medical operations in Saudi Arabia.

According to the notice, applicants can access the portal through the NAHCON website by selecting Resources and then NMT Application Portal, or by visiting http://newsite.nigeriahajjcom.gov.ng directly.

The statement confirmed that the portal opens, 12th December 2025, at 11:59 pm and will be closed on Monday, 15 December 2025, at 11.59 pm.
