NCC Returns to Television with Telecom Weekly Program

By Muhammad A. Aliyu

The Nigerian Communications Commission (NCC) is making its return to television with a new 30-minute weekly program called Telecom Weekly.

The program will provide regular updates and analysis of the Nigerian telecommunications and information communications technology (ICT) industry, as well as awareness for telecommunication consumers across the country and beyond.

Telecom Weekly will debut on NTA Network Services, which includes over 45 stations across 36 states and Abuja, on Tuesday, January 10th, 2023 at 5:00 PM. All local NTA stations are expected to air the program at 5:00 PM every Tuesday.

The radio version of the program will also air on Thursdays at 8:00 PM on the Federal Radio Corporation of Nigeria (FRCN) Network for simultaneous transmission to all states of the Federation.

The program aims to increase the NCC’s presence on radio and television and provide stakeholders with timely information about developments and issues in the telecommunications industry.

It will also focus on simplifying telecommunications services for the average consumer and creating awareness about the activities and programs of the NCC as it strives for regulatory excellence.

Aside from informative content, the program will also feature user experiences, expert opinions, and quiz sessions with prizes to engage and inform the audience.

These elements will provide an opportunity for viewers to learn from the experiences of other consumers and for the NCC to receive feedback from the general public.

Don’t miss out on the latest updates and analysis of the telecommunications industry in Nigeria.

Tune in to NTA Network Services on Tuesdays at 5:00 PM and the Federal Radio Corporation of Nigeria (FRCN) Network on Thursdays at 8:00 PM for the premiere of Telecom Weekly.
