Ali Mahaman Lamine Zeine, the Prime Minister of the Republic of Niger appointed by the military junta, together with two members of the Military Council visited Chad to discuss with the President, General Mahamat Idriss Deby.

Zeine, who described himself as the diplomatic face of the military government said that his country is now under the military regime, where he said that they are ready to talk.

But he said that the military government will only talk to their “friends” who respect the government of Niger.

The president of Chad Deby tried to intervene between the Niger army and the deposed president Mohamed Bazoum to control the situation.
