Neymar Reportedly Asks PSG to Replace Cavani With Sanchez

By Farouk Mohammed

Forward Neymar has reportedly told Paris Saint-Germain to strike a summer deal with Arsenal forward Alexis Sanchez, following his fallout with Edison Cavani.

According to French newspaper Le Parisien, the Chilean is one of Neymar’s wishes.

The paper also reports that to avoid breaking Financial Fair Play regulations, PSG will let Cavani leave to enable the club balance their books.

The Brazilian, who joined the Paris club from Barcelona for a world record fee of £198 million during the summer, fell out with Cavani over penalty calls.

Recall that PSG’s Sporting Director, Antero Henrique, had allegedly expressed his worry over the forward’s efficiency in front of goal, with the Uruguay international touted to depart.
