NGA elects Aka Nwokedi as President-Elect

Aka Nwokedi, General Counsel and Company Secretary of Nigeria LNG Limited (NLNG) and former Managing Director of NLNG Ship Management Limited, has been elected as President-Elect of the Nigerian Gas Association (NGA).

The election took place on December 15, 2022, during the NGA’s Annual General Meeting in Lagos.

Nwokedi has been an active member of the NGA for many years, and has held a number of leadership positions within the association, including 1st Vice President, Legal Advisor, Secretary General, and Chairman of the NGA Conference Committee.

He has a wealth of experience in the gas industry, and has played a key role in the development and growth of the NGA.

As President-Elect, Nwokedi will lead the Executive Council in guiding the affairs of the NGA for the next two years.

The NGA was established in 1999 as the professional body representing the gas industry in Nigeria, and is responsible for advocating for, promoting, and protecting the interests of the industry and its players in the country.

The newly elected Executive Council will assume their positions at the NGA’s International Conference in April 2023.
