Niger state commissioner, Idris Mohammed, kidnapped

Niger State Commissioner for Information and Strategy, Mallam Idris Mohammed, has been abducted by armed men suspected to be bandits.

Okay.ng gathered that the gunmen on Sunday stormed the residence of the Commissioner at Baban Tunga, Tafa local government area of the State.

According to reports, the bandits kidnap the commissioner at about 11: 00am after shooting sporadically.

Niger’s Police Public Relations Officer, SP Wasiu Abiodun, did not respond to calls on the incident as at the time of filing this report.
