The Nigeria Immigration Service (NIS) has inaugurated a passport front office in the vibrant community of Igbogbo, located in the heart of Ikorodu, Lagos State.

The Chairman of Igbogbo/Bayieku Local Council Development Area, Olusesan Daini, took to his official platform on Saturday to share images of the newly opened office.

Expressing his excitement, Daini stated, “I am thrilled to share the monumental success of the newly commissioned Nigerian Immigration Office Front Office right here in Igbogbo. This accomplishment reflects the unwavering commitment of our visionary leaders to elevate our community.”

The chairman expressed gratitude to the Minister of Interior, Hon. (Dr.) Olubunmi Tunji-Ojo, and the Controller General of the Nigerian Immigration Service, Caroline Wura-Ola Adepoju, commending them for their dedication and leadership.

Adepoju, notably the first Yoruba citizen to head the Nigerian Immigration Service, has been instrumental in driving positive changes within the agency.

Daini highlighted the historic significance of this development, praising the commitment of the leaders involved.

He said, “Their dedication and leadership have opened new doors for our community, marking a historic milestone we’re immensely proud of.”

The newly established front office is poised to offer a streamlined passport application experience, providing convenience for residents of Igbogbo.

This initiative aligns with the community’s commitment to providing accessible and efficient services.

In a similar move in January 2023, the Nigeria Immigration Service launched a passport front office in Alimosho, Lagos,
