Nigeria records 288 new cases of COVID-19, total now 44,129

Nigeria has recorded 288 new cases of COVID-19 on Monday, August 3rd, 2020.

Data from the NCDC showed that the cases were spread across 14 states, and the FCT.

The states with the 288 new cases are Lagos-88, Kwara-33, Osun-27, FCT-25, Enugu-25, Abia-20, Kaduna-17, Plateau-13, Rivers-13, Delta-10, Gombe-8, Ogun-4, Oyo-3, Katsina-1 and Bauchi-1.

NCDC also announced that as of 11:30 pm on 3rd August, there are 44,129 total COVID-19 confirmed cases reported in Nigeria.

20,663 patients have been discharged with 896 deaths across the country.
