Nigeria records 490 new case of COVID-19, total hits 24,567

Nigeria has recorded 490 new cases of COVID-19 on Sunday, June 28th, 2020.

Data from the NCDC showed that the cases were spread across 20 states including FCT, with Lagos accounting for the highest number of infections for the day with 118 cases.

The states with the 490 new cases are Lagos-118, Delta-84, Ebonyi-68, FCT-56, Plateau-39, Edo-29, Katsina-21, Imo-13, Ondo-12, Adamawa-11, Osun-8, Ogun-8, Rivers-6, Kano-5, Enugu-3, Bauchi-3, Akwa Ibom-3, Kogi-1, Oyo-1 and Bayelsa-1.

NCDC also announced that as of 11:30 pm on 28th June, there are 24,567 total COVID-19 confirmed cases reported in Nigeria.

9,007 patients have been discharged with 565 deaths across the country.
