Nigeria reports 553 new cases of COVID-19, total now 9, 855

Nigeria has recorded 553 new cases of COVID-19 on Saturday, May 30, 2020.

According to Nigeria Centre for Disease Control (NCDC), Of the 553 new cases, 378 are in Lagos, 52 in FCT, 23 in Delta, 22 in Edo, 14 in Rivers, 13 in Ogun, 12 in Kaduna, 9 in Kano, 7 in Borno, 6 in Katsina, 5 in Jigawa, 5 in Oyo, 3 in Yobe, 3 in Plateau and 1 Osun.

The NCDC also announced that as of 11:50 pm on 30th May, there are 9855 total COVID-19 confirmed cases reported in Nigeria.

Two thousand, eight hundred and fifty-six (2856) patients have been discharged with two hundred and seventy-three (273) deaths across the country.
