The Nigerian U23 national team have progressed to the semi finals of the African U23 nations cup in Senegal after playing a barren draw with Algeria in last group B game in dakar on Saturday night.
The Dream Team VI finished second in the group with five points behind Egypt, will now face Senegal, the host country in one of the semi final games billed for December 9.
Nigeria beat Mali 3-2 in their first game, drew against Egypt and Algeria in the second and third games respectively to qualify for the semis and a win against Senegal would see them pick one of the three tickets available for 2016 Olympics in Brazil.
