Acting Head of the Civil Service of the Federation, Winifred Oyo-Ita, the Nigerian government is planning to privatise the country’s postal services.

Ms. Oyo-Ita said the Nigerian Postal Services will possibly enter into public private partnership in areas such as courier services, money transfer, E-commerce and mordernizing postal services.

The aim of the intended privatisation was to stem wastage of government’s resources.
