As the general elections in Nigeria draw closer, the Nigerian Army has launched hotlines to report security breaches in all 36 states of the country and the Federal Capital Territory (FCT).

The hotlines are aimed at enabling citizens to report any security issues they observe before, during and after the elections.

These include suspicious movements of individuals or groups, as well as any form of violence or threat to public safety.

The Nigerian Army in a statement signed by its Director, Army Public Relations, Brig.-Gen. Onyema Nwachukwu on TUesday urged citizens to use the hotlines to report any security concerns they may have, and has assured the public that all reports will be treated with utmost confidentiality.
