The Nigerian Army has confirmed the rescue of a Chibok girl in Sambisa Forest.The Army spokesman, Sani Usman who confirmed this in a terse statement said the girl was rescued by Nigerian troops.

“This is to confirm that one of the abducted Chibok school girls, Falmata Mbalala, was among the rescued persons by our troops at Baale near Damboa,” said Usman.

Amina Ali Darsha Nkeki from Mbalala was found in Kulakaisa area at the fringes of Sambisa Forest after members of civilian Joint Task Force clashed with Boko Haram last, according to BBC report.
