Nigerian Female DJ, Aderonke Ariyo Joins The Grammy Awards Board As A Governor

Nigerian Female DJ, Aderonke Ariyo aka Djsoupamodel, has been selected as a Recording Academy Awards Governor for the Grammys.

The Grammys award’s the world’s biggest music awards which is made up of “musicians, producers, recording engineers and other recording professionals dedicated to improving the quality of life and cultural condition for music and its makers.”

Nigeria’s Aderonke Ariyo, who sits on the board of the Washington DC chapter will be part of the artistes that will sit on the board, deciding how the organisation, which has 12 chapters in the United States, is run.

The elated disc jockey excitedly shared on her Instagram page:

“Africa to the (world) the Grammys DC yearbook is out! Here are the Governors!” She wrote, adding, “Places your last name can’t take you! This is all you GOD. Now let’s celebrate. Great day.”
