Nigerian senate on Tuesday received the 2017 budget report from its joint committees of appropriation and finance.


 

The report was laid before the senate by Danjuma Goje, chairman of the senate appropriation committee.

The document which was supposed to be laid on Thursday was postponed to this week to enable the committees of appropriation in the senate and house of representatives make final edits.

The 2016 budget has expired two days, leaving the Nigerian government with no budget allocation.
