Nigeria’s Civil Service Commission to Conduct CBT for Shortlisted Applicants ‘Soon’

ABUJA, Nigeria — The Federal Civil Service Commission (FCSC) has assured shortlisted candidates in its ongoing recruitment exercise that a Computer-Based Test (CBT) will be conducted soon.

Okay News reports that FCSC Chairman, Professor Tunji Olaopa, dismissed reports claiming the CBT had been cancelled, describing the information as false and misleading.

According to a statement issued by the commission, preparations for the examination are ongoing, while arrangements are being finalized to provide the resources required for the exercise.

Olaopa urged shortlisted applicants to remain patient and disregard unverified reports circulating online. He advised candidates to await official communication from the commission for updates on the CBT schedule and other stages of the recruitment process.

The commission reiterated its commitment to conducting a transparent recruitment exercise and promised to keep candidates informed through its official channels.
