ABUJA, Nigeria. Nigeria’s Joint Admissions and Matriculation Board released the results for candidates who took the 2026 Unified Tertiary Matriculation Examination on Monday, April 20, 2026.
Okay News reports that board spokesperson Fabian Benjamin directed affected candidates to standard result-checking channels in a statement issued at 7:37 a.m. WAT (GMT+1) on Tuesday, April 21, 2026.
“The results for Monday, 20th, have been released. Candidates can view their results using the usual process,” Benjamin said.
Candidates access scores by sending UTMERESULT to 55019 or 66019 via SMS, using the phone number registered for the examination.
The Monday release continues a series of daily announcements for a testing exercise involving over two million candidates that commenced on Thursday, April 16, 2026.
The board previously published results for Friday, April 17, 2026, and Saturday, April 18, 2026, on Sunday, April 19, 2026, following a delay attributed to the absence of the board’s chief executive.
