ABUJA, Nigeria — The Presidency of Nigeria announced a nationwide tour of government projects on Tuesday, April 28, 2026, to verify the administration’s record over the last three years.
Okay News reports that Bayo Onanuga, the presidential spokesman, said President Bola Ahmed Tinubu has worked to transform Nigeria through infrastructure, human capital, and economic development projects across all states of the federation.
Regarding the scope of the tour, Onanuga said: “The purpose of this tour is to showcase in full what the administration has been able to do so far in order to show its seriousness and commitment to the transformation of the whole country. These projects cut across all sectors of the economy and are in all the states of the federation.”
Onanuga further stated: “By the time these projects are unveiled to Nigerians, it would be very clear to all that President Bola Ahmed Tinubu has changed the landscape of Nigeria and has indeed renewed the hope of Nigerians.’’
Tunde Rahman, the Senior Special Assistant on Media to the President, said the media will begin to monitor projects undertaken by the administration across Nigeria. During the briefing, officials from the ministries of health and information detailed specific programs, such as the Presidential Initiative for unlocking the health sector and the National Education Loans Fund, known as NELFUND.
