In response to the escalating economic challenges facing Nigerians, the Nigeria Labour Congress (NLC) has announced a two-day nationwide mass protest scheduled for February 27 and 28.

The declaration was made by the President of the NLC, Joe Ajaero, during an ongoing press conference at Labour House, Abuja, on Friday.

The decision to embark on the mass protest comes after the NLC and the Trade Union Congress (TUC) issued a 14-day ultimatum to the Federal Government on February 9.

The ultimatum demanded the implementation of agreements previously reached with workers to alleviate the economic hardships experienced across the country.
