Nnamdi Azikiwe University (UNIZIK) has officially expelled Goddy-Mbakwe Chimamaka Precious from the institution.

The decision was announced on Thursday in a statement issued by the Acting Registrar, Victor Modebelu.

Modebelu explained that the expulsion was based on a report presented to the Acting Vice-Chancellor by the Student Disciplinary Committee, which investigated the student’s assault on a lecturer from the Department of Theatre and Film Studies.

The statement revealed that Chimamaka was found guilty of gross misconduct and for breaching the Students’ Disciplinary Regulations, specifically Regulation 4.
