President Muhammadu Buhari has denied reports that he has chosen a Chief of Staff.

Media reports on Monday, June 29, 2015, had it that Buhari had appointed former Military Administrator of Kaduna State, Hamid Ali, to occupy the position.

However, presidential media aide, Femi Adesina has said that there’s no truth to the reports.

“No appointment yet,” Adesina said while speaking to Premium Times on the rumoured appointment.

Many Nigerians had reacted to the news of Ali’s appointment with surprise as former Lagos State Governor, Babatunde Fashola had been pegged to occupy the position.
