The National Examinations Council (NECO) has clarified that the closing date for the 2024 Senior School Certificate Examination (SSCE) internal registration remains June 3, 2024.
The registration, which began on December 18, 2023, will not be extended beyond the scheduled date. Late registration, which attracts a fee, will take place from June 4 to June 10, 2024.
NECO has urged candidates, school principals, and other stakeholders to disregard social media posts claiming that the registration period has been extended to June 20, 2024.
The 2024 SSCE Internal examination will commence on June 19, 2024, and end on July 26, 2024, with candidates being assessed in 76 subjects.
