Nollywood actor and lecturer Ignis Ekwe who was popular in the 80’s and 90’s has passed on.

Ekwe, prior to his death was also a lecturer at the Department of Mass Communication in Auchi Polytechnic.

He was famous for his role in popular series Everyday People, Igodo, Cockrow, Behind the clouds and many more.

Nollywood actress Yvonne Jegede Fawole has taken to her Instagram page to mourn the deceased actor.

She wrote: “Your little girls will miss you soooooooo much. Nollywood loses a gem.
We have lost a rare one. My eyes are clouded, I want to scream but I can’t find my voice.
